AIS Hub for Pilot Boats

Seamless AIS Connectivity - Up to eight connections

Designed to meet the demanding requirements of pilots, the TRENZ Vega AIS Hub supports up to eight pilots in a pilot boat, delivering AIS information through a permanently installed Portable Pilot Unit (PPU). This unit broadcasts the received AIS data stream via Wi-Fi, enabling each pilot to access real-time information on their tablets or notebooks.

Proven Performance

TRENZ, a leading manufacturer of PPUs, rapidly developed a prototype of the TRENZ Vega AIS Hub in response to the urgent need for enhanced pilot coordination. Rigorous testing confirmed the device's capability to support multiple Wi-Fi connections, fully meeting the pilots' requirements.
